GHK is a small tripeptide that occurs naturally in human plasma. It was identified in 1973 and has been studied continuously since.

It also documents what the peptide does at the level of gene expression. Reviewing the measurement work on GHK-Cu, the authors report copper retention across the skin layers in the range of 0.6 to 2.8% of the applied dose. Almost everything you put on your face stays on your face.
